To achieve the great dream of the 3rd millennium (sustainable development) with the aim of ending poverty in all its forms, preserving and protecting the Earth as the home of all living beings and creating lasting peace among all human beings, the efforts of all peoples of the world, of all races and religions, with due regard to national capacities and realities, are necessary.

UNESCO General  Director Irina Bukova stated the importance of these targets:

“In a world that is rapidly changing and has limited resources, we need to focus on the most important drivers of sustainable development, namely the elimination of poverty and lasting peace. In my opinion, collaboration in education, science, technology, communications and information is a powerful driving force for change. ”

But, The road is strewn with many dangers.

“First, is the danger of futility: the belief there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world’s ills – against misery and ignorance, injustice and violence.
But each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation.
It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance”.

What you read In the paragraph above is an excerpt from the talk of Robert F. Kennedy, which was about half a century ago in South Africa.

And now the dangers he has pointed out have come…        

Power cancer is globalizing,
and the Oppressors consider the war as a market for gaining benefits.
A market that business/prosper by people’s lifestyle
to make war for their supporters.
No matter how human life is in danger,
and people are waiting for their apocalypse rather
due passive
and not due believe.
What we feel today is an indifference
not exist the sense of social responsibility of the international community to own collective benefits.
But every person in this world has a unique personality and voice that influence the spread of peace and friendship in the world.
If we all demand it and do this,
the culture of peace and friendship can prevail over the culture of war and violence.

Better to light a candle than curse the darkness…

“Mainyu art” Is a global project.

“Mainyu” is in a way the spirit of wisdom and it is a Persian word.

Spenta Mainyu, in Zoroastrianism, the Holy Spirit, was created by the Wise Lord, Ahura Mazdā, to oppose the Destructive Spirit, Angra Mainyu.

Therefore Spenta Mainyu is an aspect of the Wise Lord himself. Through the Holy Spirit, Ahura Mazdā creates life and goodness. According to Zoroastrian belief, Spenta Mainyu protects and maintains many realms and creatures—the sky, water, the earth, plants and children yet to be born. Spenta Mainyu is the one that inspires men in their creativity, in order to help them in all their actions and in everyday life. It is a beneficial and protective energy for life.

So “Mainyu Art” means “wisdom of art” … and “art of wisdom”!

This project calls of Artists worldwide, invites to accept the role of brokers the culture of this movement.
We invite all artists to join us to Mainyu Art NGO
a macro-molecule formed of all micro-molecules,
recognized by public authorities,
in the relief of the Universal Punishment
in all its forms
by all forms of art.
This is an international collaboration which promotes global social responsibility for sustainable peace through the use of art in different cultures.
We are confident that we all together can make the same change we wish for the world.
So we will try to establish friendly relations between artists without borders, regardless of race, religion or nationality.
In Mainyu Art NGO, artists will work together to create a common global culture with the goal of achieving world peace and sustainable development.
