Caroline Gerber
Singer ،Composer and Arranger

Caroline Gerber was born on Friday, February 2, 1973.

She started learning piano at the age of four and violin at seven: at the Strasbourg Conservatory and then at the Lyon CNSMD where she specialized in early music, singing (classical and traditional: Byzantine, Gregorian, Sephardi, Greek ...), ethnomusicology and musical writing.

She shares her time between stage, teaching and composing.

As a composer she draws as much from Ravel as from Bach, ancient modes and overtone singing, conceiving her work as the marriage of West and East, past and modernity intertwining each other.

She is currently composing, together with her friend Arash Bamdadian, music for the first French-Iranian Opera-Ballet in human history.

Annabelle Rogelet
Cello Player

To be a musician and a mom is taking a lot of risks and uncertainties. It’s an exciting, lively and crazy path! Playing concerts, looking for a job are like going on the roads and letting the adventure unfold under one’s feet. Pitfalls, puddles, imperfections, summits limp and drag the measure, but at the end there is always this gushing light crossing the fault: the harmony and the shared joy of the Present!

Annabelle Rogelet is passionate about improvisation and arrangement, she likes to accompany ensembles by bringing them her own touch. She collaborates with theater companies and is a continuist in baroque orchestras (France, Switzerland).

She co-founded La Divine Proportion European chamber orchestra anchored in Cluny’s cultural and spiritual values across Europe, which aim is to decompartmentalize classical music by bringing East and West together. She joined jazz trio Lila based on the compositions of Stéphane Morilla.
